Important Notes:

Battery Back up / Power Supply unit: Do to potential un-necessary maintenance issues with the Battery Back up / Power supply unit we only order it if you have a UNIV telephone service.


Telephone service on the UNIV port do include a Power Supply / Battery Back up Unit, if you choose to have an Analogue Phone Service.
You will  be able to use the phone as long as the back up battery lasts ( a few hours typically) if you have no mains power. Please note that the Power Supply / Battery Back up Unit will not supply mains power to your handset, router or other hardware. You will require an unpowered handset to be able to make & receive calls, including to emergancy service numbers, during a mains failure.

Telephone Services on the UNID port do NOT include a Power Supply / Battery Back up Unit. If you choose to have a Digital Phone Service, you will not be able to make or receive calls, including calls to any emergency service numbers if you have no mains power.
